Woolas Barn in Yorkshire is one of those venues that instantly steals your heart. With its rustic charm, sprawling greenery, and an idyllic courtyard perfect for those romantic couple photos, it’s easy to see why so many couples choose this stunning location for their big day. Last summer, I had the absolute pleasure of capturing Natasha and Shaun’s wedding at this beautiful venue—and what a day it was!
From the start of the morning, I knew it was going to be a special day. Natasha and Shaun are such a lovely couple. And then there were their cats! Yes, cats! They were part of the getting-ready fun, and I couldn’t resist capturing a few shots of them. I’m always thrilled when couples include their pets in their day
Natasha’s bouquet? Stunning. Probably one of the most gorgeous arrangements I’ve ever seen. The colors popped beautifully against the rustic backdrop of Woolas Barn and added so much to the summery vibe of the day.
Speaking of summer vibes, the ice cream truck they had was such a hit! It was a warm, sunny day, and nothing beats a refreshing scoop of ice cream when you’re celebrating with your closest family and friends.
This wedding was extra exciting for me because it was the first time I got to use my drone! I’d only had it for a couple of days, but I couldn’t wait to try it out. Woolas Barn turned out to be the perfect spot for it—the open spaces and greenery looked absolutely incredible from above. We got some amazing aerial shots of the venue. Since then, the drone has become a regular part of my kit, and I love using it to capture those epic, cinematic views that really bring the day to life.
