Sascha & Liam’s Beautiful October Wedding at Highley Manor, Sussex

Last Sunday’s wedding at Highley Manor was one of those days that just felt amazing from start to finish.

Sascha and Liam brought all the good vibes — sunshine, laughter, bubbles (yes, BUBBLES instead of confetti ), and just the most stunning styling ever. Every detail was pure perfection — the colours, the flowers, the energy… 10/10 chef’s kiss.

I had a couple of calls with Sascha before the big day, and honestly, I knew it was going to be special. Her energy? Immaculate. 🔥 She was up for anything, trusted me completely, and that’s the kind of magic that makes everything flow. When my couples let go and trust the process, that’s when the real moments happen — the giggles, the movement, the pure love.

Outdoor Ceremony at Highley Manor

We were treated to one of those rare October days where the weather actually cooperates — warm, bright, and perfect for an outdoor ceremony. Highley Manor’s grounds looked stunning, and the couple’s styling complemented the venue beautifully with natural, neutral tones and elegant touches.

Couple Portraits & The Famous Swing

One of my favourite parts of Highley Manor is how many great photo spots there are — and yes, we definitely made use of the swing outside! It’s perfect for adding some movement and personality to portraits, and these two completely nailed it.

Everywhere you turn at this venue, there’s something special — from the light filtering through the trees to the character inside the Manor itself. It’s one of those places that always photographs beautifully, no matter the season.

Hybrid Shooting - Highlight Video

Alongside photography, I now also offer highlight videos as an optional add-on to my wedding packages. These films are designed to capture the energy and emotion of the day in motion.

Depending on what you’re after, I can create anything from a short 1–2 minute highlight film to a longer 7–9 minute version that tells more of your story. It’s such a beautiful way to experience your wedding day all over again — the atmosphere, smiles, the little details — alongside your photos.

It was so good to be back at Highley Manor again. The team there is always lovely, and there’s just a really good energy about the place. I’ve shot a few weddings here now, and each one has felt unique while still carrying that same relaxed, welcoming vibe that makes it such a dream venue for couples (and photographers!).
